What People Are Saying

"… I have been prone to depression since adolescence. When I started coming to (for adjustments), I was pretty much a mess mentally as well as physically. My adjustments always made me feel better physically, but since I have always had mood swings, as well as a 20-year nicotine addiction which also severely affects my moods, I wasn't really sure about whether the adjustments were helping in that respect. But I was pretty faithful with my visits, convinced that they were at the very least helping me work through the physical manifestations of my day-to-day stress.

Then I got divorced last year, fell into a nasty depression, and fell out of my chiropractic routine. The mood swings turned into a constant internal darkness I couldn't seem to escape. I visited sporadically; usually when I was so stressed I couldn't move my head from side to side without severe pain. Then, this past weekend, I came down with a cold (flu?) the likes of which I have not seen in years. (So I) dragging my coughing, sneezing, feverish self out of the house and into Dr. Paula's capable hands. After a few hours, I was noticing my back "cracking" with certain movements I made. Then, this morning, without exaggeration, I awoke a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSON. I did not have to drag myself out of bed as I always do, every day. I practically bounded out of bed. I cannot believe the energy I have today. I am in a great mood. That may seem like a simple statement, but I can't remember the last time I was able to honestly say that. I am not into mood-altering medications, and I have spent so much time, money, and brain cells searching for alternative solutions to my depression issues, when the answer was right here under my nose, and on your table.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Lesson learned. I'll see you next week. And the week after that, and the week after that..."

Sincerely and with love,

"I initially started care at INSPIRATION CHIROPRACTIC STUDIO because I was having a problem with my wrist and hand. I awoke one morning and could not close my right hand and had pain in both my wrist and hand. After seeing my general physician (which was an absolute waste of time) I called Dr. Paula and she was able to see me that evening. After my first adjustment I was able to use my hand and return to work the next day. In addition, Dr. Paula had also adjusted my entire spine at each visit, not just my wrist. This has been a great experience. So, my back, neck & wrist are all much better. That first day was my first time seeing a Chiropractor & I'm sticking with it!"

"I was introduced to Paula at Life Chiropractic College in Hayward through another chiropractic intern who thought that our personalities and viewpoints on life and health care would mesh well. Wouldn't you guess it, they DID ... and we became almost instant friends. Paula is not only adept at making you feel comfortable with the mechanics of chiropractic (the actual adjustment bit) but she also understands that there is an intrinsic connection between mind/body/soul. Certain days my body wouldn't adjust in the 'normal' way, so she would have to use other techniques to help me let go, get around that something in my head that wouldn't let my body release ... basically help me get out of my own way. I'm still very sad that she had to go but I'm ecstatic that her path has lead her into her own practice. She's great, you'll see! "
